CIGNA Expands Healthy Rewards® Programs to all Life, Accident and Disability Plans

Let’s face it, if employees aren’t feeling well, productivity slacks, sick days add up and a business suffers. The facts bear it out: 25% of health care expenditures are attributable to modifiable health risks – including high stress, tobacco use, body weight, activity levels and nutritional habits.1

Fortunately, CIGNA is doing something to help turn those numbers around by offering Healthy Rewards®, a discount program, at no additional cost to individuals when they have life, accident or disability coverage through CIGNA.

Through this program, individuals and their families who are enrolled in a CIGNA disability, life or accident plan have access to a broad range of health and wellness programs and services often not covered by many traditional benefits plans. Individuals can enjoy savings of up to 60 percent off services including acupuncture, chiropractic care, weight management programs, eyeglasses, tobacco cessation, dental care and more. Providers include Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, NutriSystem, SpaFinder, Mayo Clinic and other nationally known programs.

At CIGNA, we are working to help individuals improve their health and overall well-being with these value added products and services. Referrals or claim forms are not needed – people simply present their ID cards to receive the discounts.

To learn more about these value added benefits, contact your CIGNA representative today or visit www.cigna.com/healthyrewards.

Some Healthy Rewards are not available in all states. A discount program is NOT insurance, and the member must pay the entire discounted charge.
